Rental of space for TUT Durban Service Point (Re-Tender)

Tshwane University of Technology (TUT)

This tender is past the purchase deadline.

Companies preferably residing in Umgeni, Berea, Greyville and surrounding Durban areas (within a 20km radius to the city centre), with existing properties suitable for lecture rooms and staff offices within close proximity of public transport hubs that are accredited and qualified to provide rental of space and related services to the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), are hereby invited to submit proposals TR27-2021(Re-Issue).

The kind of facility that is needed is as follows (Excerpt from tender document SOW):

  • The facility must cater for a minimum of 550 students,
  • The facility must be at least 600m²
  • The facility must be in an area where public parking is easily accessible
  • The interior of the facility must have adequate lighting
  • All windows are to be fitted with blinds that are in a good working condition
  • All lecture rooms, offices and reception area to be fitted with properly measured air conditioners
  • Lecture rooms to have at least four plugs (power outlets) and easy cleanable flooring
  • Ablution facilities to be adequate
  • The property must have an electronic security system which is linked to an arm reaction
  • The Property must allow for branding on the outside of the building
  • The Proprietors should be able to assist with minor maintenance services
  • The Property operating hours should make provision for access after-hours to the library, as well as during weekends

The closing date and time for receipt TR 27/2021 (Re-Issue) is on Tuesday, 29 March 2022 at 23:59 (midnight).  Further information regarding electronic submission of tenders will be shared at the Non-Compulsory Information Session and via email after purchase of tender document.

Only Tender Documents received before the closing date and time will be considered.  No exceptions will be made for late submissions.

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS

  • Your uploaded Bid File will be saved in a secure folder on the PURCO SA server.
  • Your Bid File will be not be accessible by PURCO SA or anyone on the Bid Committee until after the closing date.
  • Your original uploaded files cannot be edited by PURCO SA staff.
  • PURCO SA staff will be advised of your submission when you submit this form, but can only access your Bid documents after the closing date.
