Tenders are invited from Bus Operators that are fully qualified and equipped, with buses seating 60-65 passengers and are interested in rendering Bus Transport Services to various residences and campuses of the Tshwane University of Technology.

The closing date and time for receipt TR 64/2020 is on Tuesday, 1 December 2020 at 23:00. Further information regarding electronic submission of tenders will be shared at the non-compulsory Information Session and via email after purchase of tender document.
Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) reserves the right not to accept the lowest tender or any tender in part or in whole. TUT reserves the right to award this tender to an empowerment company or may award this tender on condition that a joint venture with an empowerment company is formed. This will be added to the criteria when evaluating the tenders. TUT reserves the right to award this tender as a whole or in part without furnishing reasons. The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) is committed to broad-based black economic empowerment. We strive to comply with the provisions of all relevant legislation. ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS
- Tender submissions will be electronic. You will be required to upload your bid documents into our secure electronic TenderBox.
- You will be provided with the website link to the TenderBox after you have purchased the tender (and attended any Information Session if required).
- Your uploaded Bid File will be saved in a secure folder on the PURCO SA server.
- Your Bid File will be not be accessible by PURCO SA or anyone on the Bid Committee until after the closing date.
- Your original uploaded files cannot be edited by PURCO SA staff.
- PURCO SA staff will be advised of your submission when you submit this form, but can only access your Bid documents after the closing date.

All payments will be processed online through our Payfast facility. No manual payments will be accepted.
Please note that Payfast does not accept card payments from Business Accounts so if you wish to pay by credit card use a card linked to a personal account.
