Datacentre infrastructure refresh at CAPRISA

PURCO SA has recently facilitated the tender process for the datacentre infrastructure refresh at the Centre for AIDS programme of research of South Africa (CAPRISA).

CAPRISA has identified the usage of technology as a major enabler in its medical research into HIV, TB and SARS-CoV-2.

The systems for CAPRISA are hosted centrally in its own datacentre which services the organisation both internally and externally.

For CAPRISA to deliver on its mandate to its external parties and ensure systems are available and online, a robust, resilient, and scalable datacentre is a must.

The current datacentre infrastructure that supports, as well as provides resources to the various systems within CAPRISA is due for replacement, as it no longer suffices the organisations current and future needs.

The appointed supplier must display an unquestionable track record and experience with positive feedback from their existing and previous clients.

PURCO SA is excited about this project, that is an incredible collaboration venture between PURCO SA and the organization aimed at upgrading and improving the organization’s datacentre infrastructure.
